Summer’s Kisses

Just created this wonderful concoction. Sunshine, strawberries, a glass of happiness 🙂 It is a good Saturday afternoon.

Do you know gin goes very well with summer berry fruits? A hint of herbal infusion from gin, plus the wonderful aroma of strawberries and dry ginger ale – very nice indeed!

Put together:

  • 4 strawberries
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1-2 shots of gin (depending on your taste)
  • dry ginger ale

Put strawberries, ice cubes and gin into a blender that can crush/blend ice*. Blend well. Pour into two glasses and top with roughly the same amount of ginger ale to taste.

*Note: Do not use a food processor for this. Normal food processor can’t blend ice, and even if you omit the ice, the strawberries will not be properly fine and smooth. Make sure to blend the strawberries with ice until it’s REALLY smooth, or you’ll end up with strawberries separating and floating on top, which isn’t very nice. (We tried it at a friend’s house, and it did not turn out that well…)
